On 27 November for the first time there were Travelling Docudays UA screenings in Izum trade school.

The event was opened by a festival partner, Head of Legal and political researches center “DUMA”, activist of Kharkiv human rights group and a member of a range of other human rights organization Yuriy Chumak. He spoke to pupils, teachers and tradesmen about the content and meaning of the festival, about human rights and that one should not only know them but all the time defend them in real life.

From more than thirty films from Travelling Festival program, two films which are most adapted to teenagers, were chosen to be shown to the pupils. In particular, the pupils watched a Lithuanian and Estonian documentary film Liza, go home! dedicated to parenting in troubled families and also a British documentary film Sodiq which speaks about fatal errors at teenage years.

When the film screening and discussion was over, Yuriy Chumak in an interactive form told the pupils how to communicate with militia workers correctly and presented legal memos from ‘Pocket lawyer’ series elaborated by UMDPL Association experts.
